Question
I need to know the name  of five of his greatest known pieces and the date they were written.

Thank you.

Answer
This is really a question you could answer yourself (the dates, anyway) by searching the internet or visiting a library.  Here is a sample website I turned up using Google:

As for "five of his greatest known pieces," I can't really help you.  It seems to me that virtually everything he wrote is among his "greatest known." It is easier to list the few pieces that aren't among the "greatest known"  -- that would be the very early things he wrote, before his two piano concertos, and the things that aren't for piano solo (he has a few songs, and a cello sonata;  but even at that, the cello sonata, which is the last thing he wrote, is widely known, deeply respected, greatly admired, often performed).
