Hi,My name is Ivy May from Australia, I am seeking information regarding a beautiful piece of music by Hans Zimmer, the piece is in the 17.58 min track "Fools of Fortune/The Island". {Album The British Years}. The piece itself I am interested in appears only 3 times only in the whole track. 1st piece: 2.26-2.38 2nd 6.02-6.40 3rd 13.21-13.40 I am sure I have heard it as a Soundtrack.  I would dearly like to know what the 3 pieces are called. This is not a lot to go on!  Please upload a relevant portion to this site so I can listen to it.  (As to how to go about uploading here, I can't tell you that!) Or give me a link to a site that has parts of it available.  I'll try my best.

Alternatively:  go to someplace like Amazon, Tower Records, Barnes & Noble, etc. and search for the album.  Often, tracks or portions thereof are given with album info.  You might find the answer you seek there, as specific tracks are often listed.  Another option:  write to the album producers and ask for info.

I have many requests to identify a piece of music. If I can't identify it, I will tell you (1) what composer I think it is; (2) what composer or composers I think it is not; (3) what style period, genre, etc. I think it is or is not. And give you any other help I can to help you find the answer.

Please find a clear clip. In the interest of good computer hygiene, I will not download a clip. Nor will I go to a site where I must "register" in order to hear the clip. Students, I do NOT do homework questions. The purpose of answering questions on assignments is not only to learn the information, but to LEARN HOW TO FIND IT. Re-read chapter. Look in the index. Look in the references given at the end of the chapter or elsewhere in the book. You also probably can find the answer using Google. Don't be lazy. I wouldn't be doing you any favors by doing your homework for you! I already know the answer. You don't. You need to find it. MORE IMPORTANTLY, you need to learn HOW to find it.
