Classical Music/Identification of Music

Question
Hello,

I've heard this piece on the radio a while ago, and managed to record a segment of it (it's missing about 10, maybe 15 seconds from the beginning.) I tried using Tunatic to identify it, but nothing turned up.

I used Audacity to remove some background interference from the recording, but otherwise there're no modifications to it. The piece is uploaded below:

Answer
I took a listen, but didn't recognize it.  It isn't classical music (that's my field).  It might be a folk tune (Irish?) around which a jazz pianist is creating an improvisation.  Or maybe a tune original to that jazz pianist that is evoking folk music?  It sounded a bit like Keith Jarrett, but I am guessing wildly, since I don't know all that many jazz pianists, and, as a classical guy, am not tuned into being able to identify jazz players by sound.

You might try asking a jazz expert?
