Classical Music/Similar to Yanni

QUESTION: Dear mr.Stephen Levine
I love Yanni's music as there are only pure music in them without human voices ...
i also like Beethoven and other old symphonies , but i love yanni's type much more .. so i searched for if there were any similar artist to Yanni , and i found out about Kitaro , Ray Lynch and Suzanne Ciani .
now i want more if this type , can you please suggest some artists ??

ANSWER: unfortunately i don't regard yanni as a classical composer..this is light music for orchestra which i don't know too much about...you might like Karl Jenkins ..it is the same type of genre...tomita is another...the music of john barry too is wonderful

again, it's difficult to put an exact title to it.."light orchestral" would be the nearest i can come to it...some people would refer to it as "mood music"...but these are broad ranges..for you it would be necessary to have the composer or the actual name of a piece that you like and research from there..sites like amazon usually will have a link saying if you like this you'll probably like the following
