I think it's from a movie soundtrack, but I'm not sure.

I would guess, from a few clues (like the way the cymbal roll is used in this string orchestra piece) that it is from a movie soundtrack -- perhaps (probably?) written for this documentary.  And also from the fact that I don't recognize it.  This is no guarantee.  But at least, I think I can tell you that it isn't a famous piece of classical music.
