Question
Hello,

Can you pleas answer theses questions, it will take only a minute because you’re an expert in this field:

1-Witch is true of the use of dynamics in classical era?

a-   Dynamics were specifically noted; gradual dynamic changes were also notated.
b-   Each section had its own dynamic level; dynamics remained constant within sections.
c-   Each movement had its dynamic level; dynamics could change only from movement to movement.
d-   Dynamics were specifically notated; dynamics remained constant within sections

Answer
Based on this limited question, and not knowing what the context of the discussion actually is, "a" appears to be the best answer. The other three answers limit dynamic contrast to sections, which was more indicative of the Baroque period in music. Every phrase in the Classical period had a "rise and fall" to aid in expression.

Good luck with your musical studies!

Best,

Donald
