Classical Music/composer and title

Question
I'm trying to find a somewhat popular music piece that I heard on opening night of the 2005 NFL season. This music piece is usually associated with football or other sports via highlights or clips on ESPN and other networks. I've contacted a local radio station and tried to hum the music and was told that it could be from Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky. I've also tried to contact ESPN and the likes but received no response and have spent countless hours online listening to parts of "songs" with no luck. Can you please help?

Answer
The only things I can suggest are two pieces often used for this kind of thing.  If it isn't these, I really have no idea.  Have you tried
Copland, Fanfare for the Common Man
or
Orff, Carmina Burana

If it isn't these, then I don't know.  You haven't given much to go on . . .
