I'm searching for any info about the song on Ralph Lauren's site

That's Prelude (first movement) of Bach's Suite for Cello, No. 1, in G major.

The Ralph Lauren people have added some ugly (it seems to me) strings over the top that really shouldn't be there.  They didn't even get all the harmony right!

Check out a good recording of this suite (like, for example, by YoYo Ma).  It is a fabulous -- as are all of these suites for solo cello by Bach.
