Question
I am trying to identify a song from an operetta or musical comedy from around 1900 sung in English from record my mother played frequently when I was a child.  It is in march tempo sung by a male chorus in a minor key with a repeated line something like "off to Burgundy." I could write out the melody of the verse and refrain in music script if it would help.  Thanks.

I can't think of anything that matches.  Sounds like something  English (WWI, perhaps, military march, perhaps), and if so, that eliminates folks like Strauss.  

Music script would be good!

Just give me the chorus.

Students, I do NOT do homework questions. The purpose of answering questions on assignments is not only to learn the information, but to LEARN HOW TO FIND IT. Re-read chapter. Look in the index. Look in the references given at the end of the chapter or elsewhere in the book. You also probably can find the answer using Google. Don't be lazy.
