Clayton College of Natural Health/Working in Texas

Question
Hi, and thank you for answering so many questions!  I noticed on a couple of
posts you mentioned that Texas has a law not allowing you to be in business
without holding a degree from a school that is accredited by DOE.  Is there
any way around this?
I have spent months looking at natural health colleges, I have finally settled
on KCNH.  After reading about this law today, I am not quite sure what I
should do. I am very surprised to hear about this law, as I know there are
people in Texas practicing natural health.

Thank you  for your time.  All of your answers on other posts have been
invaluable!

I too know of natural health practitioners who are in business in TX having graduated from non-USDE schools, but the law is still intact. Please know however, that this law has never held up in a court of law.
As I mentioned, you could practice as a natural health consultant having gone to KCNH in TX, but you could not advertise yourself as a graduate in any written literature or on a website. If you want to be completely legitimate in TX then check out Everglades University's online BS in Alternative Medicine and/or the American College of Health Care Science's programs. I do not think either of these schools has what Kingdom offers as far as a focused education in alternative medicine. But if you want to be completely free of these stupid, bureacrats who are probably fat, sick, depressed and God only knows what else, you'll have to choose a school that the US has given it's stamp of approval on. And that's not Kingdom or any of the other really good alternative health schools, IMO. Thank God that TX and OR are the only states that have this moronic legislation in place...so far.
