Question
I am almost through with my Teach Out for my Doctorate in Naturopathy.   I need to ask questions of an advisor, have written letters but have received no reply. Do we no longer have any advisor?
I also wanted to look at past chats but cannot access them unless you know where they may be archived.
What can I do and not do legally with the Doctor of Naturopathy Degree from CCNH in the state of Ohio and Florida?

Thank you for providing answers.

Answer
Brenda-You can safely assume that you no longer have an advisor at CCNH. You cannot access any chat rooms that were on the Clayton site. As far as setting up a business in FL and OH with an ND degree from CCNH, thy are not licensing states for Naturopaths. That means you could call yourself a Naturopath and use the ND designation, However, they have some strict laws as to who can practice nutrition and dietetics. But the way I read the law, it pertains to medical nutrition and not to teaching health and wellness principles to groups and individuals. I know of some very successful h&w educators in both OH and FL. One works in a DCs office, the other works in a spa where there are MDs, RNs and others. That seems like your best bet to be on the safe and legal side--work as a H&W educator in an office alongside a licensed health professional. I hope this helps.
