Question
Have you had any experience with the natural healing college. They seem to have good programs and several private accreditations. What is your opinion of their programs, textbooks, and student services? I do cringe when I see schools using The encyclopedia of natural medicine which is going on 15 years old and the alternative medicine guide which is also fairly old. How would you compare this school with the global college of natural medicine? They seem to have similar programs and acceditations although global utilizes their own textbooks and offer advanced degrees. Thank you for any insight and information.

Answer
Natural Healing College is new in that it has only been around for a few years. I have no problem with the two text books they use as the principles outlined in the book still hold up. NHC has a one very good point in they have an internship program. I believe that many of their contacts are in the Los Angeles area, but they are working on expanding that. That IMO, should be very attractive to someone who wants to be a consultant. I think GCMN and NHC are comparable in the education you'll receive. But as you say, Global does offer advanced degrees and has been around longer. The feedback I get about GCMN is that their programs are very similar to what Clayton's were. Have you checked out Westbrook and Hawthorn? They have very good reputations. Hope this helps.
