Cleaning Up/Blue stain on carpet

Question
Hi, I fell on my carpeting while wearing a brand new pair of jeans.  I hit pretty hard on my right knee and it resulted in a blue denim stain on the carpet.  I'm afraid to do anything with it as it might spread.  The carpet is off white, fairly short pile and I think (but am not at all sure) that the carpet is nylon.  Thank you!

I guess you live long enough you hear everything. This is the first time I have ever heard something like this. I assume it did not just vacuum out? I'd have to error on the side of caution and say call a professional carpet cleaner out. He could look at it closely (better then any internet pic you could send me) and make a better assessment of exactly what's going on. Sorry wasn't much help!
