Question
We spray painted our interior doors and one of them had etched glass in the middle, paint got on the glass and it has been about a month since we decided to put them in now and we peeled the tape and plastic off and there is paint on the etched glass...How do you get the paint off w/o ruining the etched glass?

Answer
Hi Alicia;
That sure is a mess isn't it? However, usually spraying WD-40 on it and letting it sit a few minutes will help you to wipe it right off without hurting the etching. If you have to use any type of a scraper, it HAS TO BE a plastic scraperand only use it as a last resort without applying a lot of pressure to the scraper.

I have heard that GOOP also works nicely, but I have not personally tried that one myself.
Good Luck and don't be afraid, it won't harm the etching if you don't have to use the scraper and if you do, use light strokes and you will be fine.
