Cleaning Up/Red Stain on top of microwave

Question
I have a red stain left from a candle on the top of a microwave. The wax is gone but the stain is left. I've tried baking soda, no luck and clorex bleach pored directly over it and left for 10 hours. No change in the stain. Any ideas? I don't see this covered anywhere on the internet.

Answer
Hi Annette,
You might try a paste made from Cream of Tartar and the juice of a real lemon.  Make the paste, spread it over the stains them put saran wrap over the area and use the blue painter's tape to seal it all around the edges,  Leave it on for 24 hours.  Peel up the wrapping and use a nylon scrubbie on the area.  Hopefully this will help.

If not, in hardware stored there are products that are made just for removing colored candle wax, check into them
