Expert: Sijka - 2/18/2008
QuestionI don't know if you can answer this, but do you know of any
laundry soap (not detergent) that is available? Something
like Ivory Snow. I'm looking for soap powder.
Thank you.
AnswerGeorgie,
Here is a list of POWDERED Laundry “SOAP”. They can all be found online, some in Health Food Stores or a grocery store.
Charlie’s Laundry Powder:
Their Laundry Powder is a revolutionary approach to laundry care. It does not cover up stains and odors with scents and brighteners - it really cleans. It is made with a unique blend of biodegradable coconut-based detergents and high-grade, completely soluble, Green River washing soda.
Moon Works All Natural Laundry Soap Powder
Moon Works laundry powder is designed to be kind to the environment. It is gentle on delicate fabrics, contains no optical brighteners or sodium lauryl sulfate (a synthetic substance that acts as a detergent and can cause allergic reactions). Moon Works laundry powder is economical. It costs less per load than most other laundry products. Moon Works laundry powder creates NO SUDS, therefore no residue. It is a misconception that lots of suds equates to cleaner clothes.
Natural Laundry Soap Powder from Bi-O-Kleen
Try this natural laundry soap powder from Bi-O-Kleen for cleaner, brighter, fresher and naturally soft results without additives. Works exceptionally well in cold and hard water. Very concentrated, ¼ cup per full load, leaving no soap residue or water deposits that can cause skin irritation and diaper rash. No fillers, all natural 100% active ingredients, free of borine, chlorine, metasilicates, borax, or caustics. Contains color-safe oxygen bleach and grapefruit seed extract. Bi-O-Kleen natural laundry soap powder is safe for front loading washers.
20 Mule Team® Borax-read all about it at this site—it’s my favorite because of the price and it can be used with vinegar to clean you bathroom top to bottom:
