Cleaning Up/scorched milk on ceramic cooktop

Question
My oatmeal boiled over and I've tried everything I know of and the burnt milk won't come off my ceramic cooktop.  Any ideas?

Answer
Dear Kathy,
You can buy a scraper (just like a paint scraper) at any paint or hardware outlet-has a single sided razor blade at one end.

Mix baking soda and water into a paste, spread it on the scorched area, leave a few minutes. Use the scraper to remove burnt matter, wipe off & finish with a rinse of white vinegar & water on a soft cloth.
Cheap, easy & it does work.
