hey i hv been  watching my socks in a machine with rest of the clothes they are not with like new they have small firbres stuck to it
how can i wash my white socks n keep them like new
please help n i stay in apt
thanks

Answer
Hi Jamy;
I am not sure that I really understand your question, but I will try to answer.

If you are washing your socks with colored clothing; use a powdered bleach for colored items, in your wash. This will help to keep your socks white and not discolor.

Put your socks in a mesh laundry (small size--get at the dollar store) before washing and throw in the washer with everything else. This way it will help to grab the loose fibers and it won't get on the other clothes and vice versa.

Also, add a small amount of vinegar (it is cheaper than fabric softener) to your wash load. This will keep your clothes, the fibers and your socks soft. Your clothes won't smell like vinegar either, the odor disappears in the dryer cycle.

Happy washing,
