Question
I'm trying to remove white mineral stains from textured glass on solar panels (it's similar to the glass on bathroom windows to prevent outsiders from seeing in). I've tried vinegar, battery acid, oven cleaner, toilet bowl cleaners like Lime Away, polishing compound on a cloth wheel. I removed the worst of it with a wire wheel on a grinder (fine wire), but can't get the last bit of haze off. Any mechanical means has a hard time getting down into the low areas between the tiny bumps that make the textured surface. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The video is very informative although it is not primarily designed to remove stains from solar panels, it does give very good instructions on removing these stains in general.
I have included a snapshot of the video where you can see the restored glass on the right as compared to the mineral stained glass on the left.
