Cleaning Up - Dryer cleanup

Expert: Jamie Novak - 6/7/2009

Question
Had red fleece that faded onto inside of dryer. Drum is tinted red.  How to remove the red color from inside dryer?
Don't buy fleece snuggie's.  They fade horribly.

Answer
Good to know, I have not washed mine yet. When I've stained my drum I run 2 Cups of bleach through two cycles on the hottest and highest settings. This also seems to clean any built up residue.

Have you checked the website for the maker of your washer?

I don't want to give you any advice that might damage your machine, however a call to a washer hotline indicated this idea should be safe.

I sure hope it works.

I guess to be sure the first was you do after would be something you would not mind ruining.

Good luck and happy washing!

PS If you're looking for any time saving/de-cluttering advice the next monthly f-r-e-e call with me is this Wed. the 10th at 8:30pm et and I love to have you join us! www.JamieNovak.com
