Cleaning Up/tissue in the washing machine

Question
Someone left a multitude of tissue of some kind in my washing machine, I put my favorite kingsize bed set in to wash and when it was done, I took it out in horror, tissue all over every inch of my bed set. I looked at it for a long while then threw it back in the wash.  Did not and still does not seem like the best idea, after looking at it while the wash cycle was still initiating, I realized that the tissue was all through the water, realizing I had defeated the purpose.  Can you tell me how to get all the tissue off my sheets?

Answer
Hi Gwen;
I know what a mess that can be and especially with some of the materials on the market today.

At this point, you can rewash or re-wet the bed set and add it to the dryer,now simply add a few lint balls.

This is basically no more than netting that is formed into a ball. The lint balls that are sold in stores come in a package of three or four for about $10.00. However, the scrubbie netting and also the kind of netting balls that are used for in the shower will do nicely and are less expensive.
The tissue will grab hold of the netting and pull it off of the bed set as it is drying.

If you have a bed set that is of the new micro suede, you have a little more of a problem and the only way to get that off completely, is to let the bed set dry and then take a hair brush and comb it off. Sorry, that material grabs hold of everything!

Good Luck,
