Cleaning Up - how to clean berber carpeting

Expert: Jahann and Sons Persian Rugs - 8/3/2009

Question
what,s the best way to clean berber carpet? w/w size.

Answer
Hi Michael,

With berber, I'd first do a little spot cleaning with mild soap, water, and good old fashioned elbow grease.  Then, I'd use a carpet shampooer like the kind you can rent at your local hardware store.  Use a mild soap and cold water.  This should have the rug looking like new!

Best of luck,
Katie
