Question My dish rags smell funky even after I wash them! Am I suppose to soak them BEFORE putting them into the washing machine? Can you suggest what I should soak them in? Something inexpensive please. Thank you so much! I look forward to having clean smelling dish cloths! :)
Answer The best deodorizer that you an get is right in yur kitchen---baking soda! Simply add about a gallon of HOT water to your sink, about a 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of vinegar. Put your rags and cloths in there and let them soak for about one hour and then wash in the washing machine as usual.
From now on all you will have to do is wash them with your regular wash. Just add 1/2 cup of baking soda per wash load. This works great for smelly socks too!
