Question
I broke a fish oil capsule in my jeans pocket and after several washing they still reek of fish.  I have a front-loeading washing machine.  Can you help?  If not, do you know who can? Thanks --
Alice

Answer
Hi Alice;
Hey, after four kids and 8 grandkids I am a wiz at wierd odors!

I have tried many tried and true cures, but to me, this works the best. Was the jeans with a 1/ cup of baking soda, then re-wash them again with a cup of vinegar in the washer and then simply dry as usual in the dryer and you are good to go! It takes a little longer than some methods, but I have excellant results with almost every odor imaginable by using this method.

The fish smell will be totally gone, your jeans will be super clean and the vinegar works as a fabric softener too.

Happy washing,
