Hi, I am moving from Singapore to the US. I was wondering if you had any recommendations on where in Fairfield County, Connecticut, I could get my oriental rugs cleaned.

Hi Suchi,

Welcome Back!  I'm actually not familiar with Fairfield County, Conn.  Generally, what we recommend folks looking for a good Oriental Rug cleaner is to call their nearest upscale department store that has a rug department, and ask them for a recommendation.  When you're looking for someone to clean your rugs, make sure that they actually wash the rugs using cold water and mild soap.  You don't want to use a company that dry or steam cleans the rugs, as that is too harsh a process for Oriental carpets.
