Question
Can you recommend a product for cleaning kitchen and bathroom ceramic tile? My cleaning lady (just before she moved out of state) told me she likes mop and glow. I used it a few times, now I have a film that only comes up with hard scrubbing. Can you recommend something that will remove the film in one treatment? Thanks Jo

Answer
Hi Jo,
There are things on the market that is made especially for cleaning grout HOWEVER, the thing that I use is simple, home made and cheap!
Mix 1/4 cup of baking soda, 1 cup vinegar and a liter of water. The water will rise and bubble (due to the mixture) but settles down in a matter of seconds.
Do it like this:
I take a little extra vinegar [1/4 cup,add water and put into a large spray bottle] and spray it on all of the grout lines and let sit for 10 minutes.
Now simply use your mop or a rag to clean the entire surface. It will even pull up sticky hair spray on the floor in the bathroom.
I made the mistake of trying mop and shine to{told to me by a friend] and had a mess, but this mixture will clean that right up for you as well as clean your grout!
Good luck!
