Cleaning Up/Best dry mop for hardwood floors

Hi Sijka.  I just pulled up my carpets and refinished my hardwood floors.  I purchased a mop with a terry cloth pad, but it's not picking up stuff on the floor - it just moves it around.  I need a dry mop that will pick up dust and debris from the floor and trap it inside until I shake it out.  I've seen cotton mops and wool mops.  Is either one better than the other?  Will they both hold the dust or just move it around?

 A microfiber mop would really help you.  I refer you to this website, not to purchase it, but to see how a microfiber mop works better than any other.
