Question
How do you get rid of mildew on the canvas of a tent trailer? I can not take the canvas outside to clean it.
Hello and thanks for the question. I must admit that I am not a cleaning expert. My postings are for clearing clutter as I am an expert Professional Organizer.
However, I am an avid camper and remember the solution my Mom used to clean the canvas. I cannot say this information is expert, but I hope it helps.
Mix 2 cups of bleach in a 5 gallon bucket of water. Wash ONLY the area with mildew. A tent will leak at the mildew spot regardless of how or if it is treated.
