Question
hi i put my sons clothes in a drawer and mystriously some blue socks that i have blead into his light blue cotton shirt and his denim jeans. how can i remove these stains without discoloring the fabrics

Answer
Hi Hannah;
I sure hope that this works for you, I have used it dozens of times. I use the new TIDE stain stick and it works great. Just follow the directions on the pen.

Another thing that I used before that was dry cleaning solvent. When you are trying to get color out of color, it is touchy. So, the strongest solution on the market is what they use at the dry cleaners and it works. The directions are on the bottle and it can be bought at most discount stores where they have laundry soap.

The only other idea that I would have for you is to take it to a dry cleaners and ask them if they can get it out.
Different fabrics retain stain in different ways, so I always ask the experts if I am unsure.

I hope it helped and that you can save the shirt.
