Question
since i was so pleased with your help before...i wanted to ask you one more question. i work at a large church.. there are many many baseboards as you can imagine. what is a time efficient way (tools/cleaning stuff) to keep them clean? thanks again

As funny as it may sound, wax them!

Friction on baseboards catch and hold dust and debris. It will take a lot of time the first cleaning, but here's my solution to longer lasting clean baseboards:
Mix a little mild soap, like Murphy's Oil soap, and water in a clean bucket. And give those base boards a good cleaning. Then come back with a good auto wax (turtle wax) and give them a shine!

Not only will they look great, but they'll stay clean longer because they will have less surface tension and the dirt will just slide off!

After that, you should be able to use an extension hose with a brush on the end to keep them clean.
