Cleveland Indians/Past players

Question
Do you know of a player in the late 50's or early 60's for cleveland with the nickname of "Bubba"?  Perhaps his last name may have been Phillips and he may have been a utility player.  Also, do you know of a web site that lists past rosters?  Thanks millions if you can help.  David

Answer
Hello again,

I continued to dig around on that www.baseball-reference.com site and I found where they list all the teams.  You can click on the team you want, click on the year you want for that team, and see the list of stats for that team, which is pretty close to a roster.  Here's the URL to the Team Page:
http://www.baseball-reference.com/teams/

This site is great -- I hope you agree!

Living in Cleveland, and not particularly liking the Browns or Cavs, I had to like ONE of my hometown teams. I also LOVE baseball, so the Indians took care of both things. I have been a true fan since their lonely, losss-filled days at Cleveland Stadium, when I was one of only about 2,000 fans in attendance. I remember players like Corey Snyder, Alan Bannister, Julio Franco (the 1st time...), Doug Jones (the 1st time), Joe Carter, and on and on... Though I`m not a trivia buff, I might be able to help with some questions on more recent stuff.
