Cleveland Indians/what time gates open

Question
I have been all over the Indians web site and can not find anywhere what time the gates open for the games...todays in particular (June 27th, 2004) and also is there a time you can get in to get autographs?  Any info will make my life easier.
Thanks

Answer
Hi Toni,

The gates typically open two hours before a game.  Generally, for day games, they open at 11:00 AM.  Night games, the gates open around 5:00 PM or so.  Of course, Jacobs Field management can open the gates at whatever time they are ready (possibly later than two hours before a game).

Autographs can be sought in Sections 125-134 and 169-175 during the first 1/2 hour after the gates have opened. This is usually from 5:30-6:00pm for weeknight games and from 11:30am-noon for weekend day games.

I hope this helps.  Have fun!

Living in Cleveland, and not particularly liking the Browns or Cavs, I had to like ONE of my hometown teams. I also LOVE baseball, so the Indians took care of both things. I have been a true fan since their lonely, losss-filled days at Cleveland Stadium, when I was one of only about 2,000 fans in attendance. I remember players like Corey Snyder, Alan Bannister, Julio Franco (the 1st time...), Doug Jones (the 1st time), Joe Carter, and on and on... Though I`m not a trivia buff, I might be able to help with some questions on more recent stuff.
