Question
I acquired one of these and it doesn't have a wind key.  It also appears to not have been used probably b/c of key.  Where can I get a replacement and should I oil it before winding? Thank you.

Hi Steve,
    If your clock has not been running for a long time, it is advisable to lubricate it. You must use CLOCK OIL only, and put a tiny drop of oil at each point where a gear shaft enters a hole in the front and back main plates of the movement. You will need to remove the movement from the clock to do this.
    Winding keys are available from clock supply houses like Timesavers, Merritts Antiques or Empire Clock. You must get the correct size key, and they vary in increments of .25mm. "Commercial grade" keys are inexpensive, and you can several of them, then see which one fits the best. Your key is probably in the range of 3.25mm to 4.00mm.
