Clocks, Watches/Linden Clock

Question
I have a Linden 400 day anniversary clock.  It is battery operated.  The suspension spring is broken and my local clock repairer cannot locate a new one.  The clock was my mothers and is very dear to me.  I cannot see any serial number anywhere on the clock. I live in London, England. Any suggestions?

Answer
Hi Jan,
Battery 400 Day clocks use many different kinds of movements. Unfortunately, parts are rarely available for them.  There are replacements movements available from clock supply houses, but they will probably not be identical to yours, and the results may not be satisfactory.
The Linden brand name has gone through a number of ownerships, and parts can be difficult to obtain. The current owner of Linden Clocks is Colibri Corp, and you can contact their repair department at 800-242-6300.
