Hi,
I got this model GF clock(Hermle 451-053 HS Grand Father clock), it chimes hour,quarter half, three quarter, then misses the next hour and quarters, then starts chime again. ie it only chimes every other hour. can you help please.

needs a pro-- the chime release lever on the front of the mechanism needs adjusting to provide more lift.You would have to access the front of the movement directly by removing the dial and hands. Might also be the quarter cam has slipped on the shaft and is re-locking after tripping instead of running.
