Question
I purchased a Barwick grandfather clock at a yard sale.  The seller said it was his grandmother's and it worked.  I can't make it work.  Seems like the weights are missing. I pulled on the chains and they came loose.  What am I doing wrong.  Is there some place in Phoenix that can come out and look at a clock like this or is even worth the trouble?

Answer
I suggest you make use of the internet.  Goto <local.com> on the reluting screen, in the search box enter clock repair, in the localation box enter Phoenix, Az and zip code.  You will be rewarded by a list of people that practice the trade of clockmaking.  Wish you luck, Regards WJP
