Clocks, Watches/Cuckoo clock door

Question
The door on my cuckoo clock does not always close after it cuckoos.  The clock is about 5 years old and just recently started doing this.  I have sprayed the door with compressed air thinking it may have collected some dust but it did not help.  Any suggestions?

try a minute drop of light oil on the wires that make up the hinges of the door and the wire ends that connect the back of the door with the perch of the cuckoo bird. open the back door and check to see that the tail of the cuckoo bird is not resting on the wire underneath it that lifts the tail during cuckooing.
