Question
I have a Warmink grandmother clock with the following on the clock mechanism itself 451-053 75cm. I was wondering if it is possible to disable the chime and keep the clock running
these normally come with a shut off lever attached to the front of the mechanism and accessable through a slot by the number 3 on the dial- if not the lever is inside the case and can be reached through a side panel or fromn the back. Up shuts it off.

| Comment | I had to go looking but found a couple of levers that looked like they did nothing but when moved rested against the arms of the strike bars for the "hour" chime. The other side when moved stopped the fly wheel from spinning .. not obvious by any stretch but it worked. Thanks (no access via the "3" nor the back) had to take the cover off | ||
