Question
WE have an old E.Ingraham Mantel Clock. The plate on the back says"Cabinet No. 19" any Info on this clock would be helpful, and deeply appreciated.

Answer
I have donated most of my reference works to various horological schools or orginizations.  In view of that I must rely on my memory and shop notes.  According to my notes the cabinet no. 19 was a mantle type clock, made of oak, 15 1/2" tall, 5" dial, circa 1894, 8 day strike.  Although production of this model began in 1894, they were produced all the way up to 1927.  If you open up the case so that you can view the movements backplate, you might find the actual year of production stamped thereon.  Sorry this the best I can do.  Regards WJP
