Clocks, Watches/Hamilton wall clock chime problem

Question
My Hamilton Lancaster County wall clock is twenty years old and serviced once.  Last week, after its weekly winding, the chimes tolled out the hour at fifteen minutes after the hour.  Since then it has not chimed at all on either the hour or quarter hours.  The clock is running and keeping time...???

Answer
you do not say - but I assume this is a spring driven clock, not weight driven. That being the case, only cause of striking at the wrong place is the strike stalled for lack of enough power to run the strike and began when you rewound it again. If all three (or two??) of the springs are wound and there is not a strike/silent lever that got shut off by mistake, then it is time to get it serviced or the mechanism overhauled or replaced.
