Clocks, Watches/Wuba clock chimes

Question

clock
I have a small Wuba wall clock which runs with weights. It keeps good time but when it chimes on the hour the chimes are so fast it is impossible to count them. Is there a way to slow down the speed of the chiming mechanism. The chimes are done with a little brass hammer striking a bell on the top of the clock.

Answer
the little fan that spins during striking on the mechanism (the fly) is loose on the shaft most probably- if you can stop the fan with your finger while it is strikning and it continues to strike, this is confirmed- improper way to fix is a small drop of glue in the center of the fly on the shaft- but it works.
