Clocks, Watches/grandaughter clock

Question
I purchased two granddaughter clocks in the late 70's in England at an antique store.  They stand about 51 inches high. The door opens on the front and has a swinging pendalem like the bigger clocks.  I need to get them in good repair and wondering about their worth. I haven't seen any like them anywhere.  I'm in Covington, Kentucky. Do you have any suggestions as to how much their worth or where I can go to get them in good condition.  Thanks Jean

Answer
Next to the Vienna regulator, granddaughter clocks are my favorites.  I would have to see your clocks to establish their probable worth.  Since I cannot due this I suggest you use the internet to contact a dealer in clocks to give you an on site appraisal and help with any restoration that migh be needed.  Goto <local.net>  which will take you to a search screen.  Enter clock repair in the box marked search and Covington, Ky and zip into the box provided for location.  Enter this data and you will be rewarded by a lsiting of businesses that could help you.  Talk to at least several before making any commitment.  Regards WJP
