mr.perkins, i bought this clock in non working cond. after repairing barrel spring it works fine  just runs very fast, 4 hrs. in 12 hrs. escapment is not jumping teeth,i used a wire from a s. haller reg. size  clock,i had to cut it down to length. need help  thanks. chuck

The most critical part of an anniversary clock is the escapement, of which the pendulum spring is an important component.  It must be precisely correct.  Replacement springs are readily available.  To order you must request the exact unit.  To do so, as would I, you will need to refer to the following reference work; "The Horolovar 400-Day Clock" by Charles Terwiliger.  From this book you can identify the exact requirements for your clock as well as instruction of installation and set up.  This reference work is an essential tool for anyone attempting to correct one of these clocks.  Regards WJP
