hi i am a young carpenter who has just started trying to figure out how a cuckoo clock works i understand a normal pendulum clock and could easily make one but my grandfather has asked me if i could make him a cuckoo clock . i was wondering if you knew of anywhere i could get plans for a cuckoo clock.

Sorry I do not know a source for cuckoo clock plans.  I can provide you with the name of a book that provide you with excellent information from whence you could learn to assemble a clock of your own choice of components.  "THE BKLACK FOREST CUCKOO CLOCK" By Karl Kockmann.  This book would be invaluable to you.  It would enable you to, 1) Build your own version of a case.  2) Purchase and assemple components you can find at thrift stores.  Actually it would enable you to do just about anything you want want to do, as far as cuckoo's are concerned.  Regards WJP
