Question
I have my grandfathers Walthom pocketwatch....the ser. #20888460, it is silver in color with roman numerals, 1 sub dial at 6 o'clock position. It says A.W.W. Co. on movement..can you tell me its age and possable value..Its in near mint condition..no box.Thanx for any help you can give me.

Answer
Greg,

Based on the serial number, the watch was made in 1908, making it 100 years old!

To get an idea of what it is going for now, look on ebay for similar Waltham watches.  You are looking for a Waltham 16 size, with 15 jewels.  Confirm that is your watch.  With the global economy, you might get less than you would if you hold it for a year or two.

Kind regards,

Melvin
