Question
I have a Waltham 31 day Regulator Chime key wind wall clock that I can't seem to find a model number but was bought new in the late 1970's. I believe I have wound the time spring to tight and now won't continue to keep the pendlum swinging. Is there a way to release this spring so as to start over with the winding process?

Answer
Korean clocks and all clocks do not get overwound unless you break something and then you will know you did. Make sure you wind it fully as it takes 35 or so turns to wind the long springs in these clocks.

Does it tick-tock at all? if so probably just out of beat --try tilting it a bit one way or the other on the wall to get it sounding even when it ticks.
