Question
bill, this office clock i have has a flat glass 12.5 inches across, seems really heavy for that single hinge, which has been repaired once maybe more, but i,m getting ready to repair it again,my question, did this clock have a domed glass to be original? there is one on ebay i,m looking to bid on if you think it will work could use some help here. thanks chuck

Answer
I would suggest you skip ebay.  Go to a local glass shop to have a glass fitted to the requirements of the clock.  No, I do not recall ever having seen a #1 with a domed glass.  One of the greatest sources for authentic glass is Goodwiil.  Look at the old picture frames.  You would be amazed at some of the finds you coulc come up with.  You can find materials for great doors from this source as well.  Regards WJP
