i have a ALFRY mantle clock made in westtern germany on back has #77 Emil Schmeckenbecher TWC121Jewels (jnaljustel)not shour on that one, 340-020 has three spots for the key at the III VI and IX. how do i wind the clock and not the chime any info will help given to my aunt in 1977 value ?

there is a quarter CHIME on the right and and the hour STRIKE and then the time in the middle --what are you trying to do? it may have a shutoff arm on the right side by the number 3 on the dial- if you only wind the middle by the #6 it will eventually stop any sounds but the clock will continue to run.
