Question
Being retired and disabled I am always looking for small projects.I recently purchased a wall clock at a local thrift store($20.00).The front door was missing so I made a new one.The name on the face is "Linden" but the movement is W.Haid(351-020)which is also a part# used by Hermle.Did W.Haid make movements for Linden? The back of the case is marked-)wp(- 06-70 What do I have here? It works excellent(W/M chime)and the case is in pristine condition.

Answer
Hermle made it for Haid- not sure who Haid is - they may be a mfg liscensed to use the "Linden" trade mark on the cases they made.

Movement might have more numbers on the back of the brass plate indicating the year Hermle made it? 1970 might be a good date.
