Question
We Have a Harris & Mallow Clock, Spring Driven Wall Clock.
The Main Spring broke, 3 Springs,Westminster Chime, Clock &
Hour Strike.  All Springs incased in metal. No Jewels, Made
in West Germany.  Numbers on Works,  351-020, 55cm over 88.88.  Need new Main Spring.  Thankyou,  Pat.

Answer
I should be able to offer you a mainspring for your clock. I need to know what spring it is. As you look at the front of the clock. Is it the left side, middle or right mainspring?
The barrel will need to come out of the clock, I can tell you how to do this. However, the mainspring is very thick and strong. Replacement should be done by a trained person with a mainspring winder. If you can't do this yourself, you can mail me the barrel and I'll replace the spring. If you are interested in this I can give you some prices.
